| I know that NHL hockey is a wounded buffalo these days and that the game has gotten boring. But I live in New Orleans. The word "hockey" is never, ever used down here and I miss the shit out of it (go Bruins!). So today I'm on a mission to find out which of our local providers can give me the most NHL action this coming season - Cox cable or DirecTV satellite. DirecTV has an NHL Center Ice package - 40 games a week. That's not bad. Cox cable has NHL Center Ice but it looks like it's shared with MLB, which I can't stand (unless the Red Sox are winning the World Series and I don't need cable to watch that). I foresee phone calls to customer service reps in my future. We wanted to get cable when Andy starts working anyway, and now that there will be a hockey season, it's imperative. | ||||||||
